About TrentBookSwap.com

TrentBookSwap.com was created out of frustration due to the lack of a real textbook swapping community. With the book store having such tight deadlines as to when you can return a new book (within 2 days of purchase) and how late their buybacks are (3 weeks after the beginning of the semester), including Facebook groups such as Trent University and Trent University Book Exchange where people are inefficiently posting and re-posting their books, something had to be done.

The course codes were added from the Trent timetable and placed into our database. Although there are some courses that require more than one textbook, it is easier to list books by course code rather than book title and author because a list of all textbooks used by Trent is not available.

The system is handcoded and built from the ground up for security and ease-of-use. If you have any comments, suggestions or problems with the website, please contact us!
